Free Test Prep Resources are Out There
There are many testing resources out there, from printed materials to online sample tests, and many of them do not cost anything. Familiarity with the tests you will be taking, practicing timing, and brushing up on areas of weakness all could help improve your scores. So why not take advantage of the internet in all its splendor and try your hand at a few of these below? While this list is not extensive, do note that you can often find many free resources on sites that offer fee-based services as well.
Free Materials

From the ACT, get official strategies, test descriptions, and practice questions from the source. There are five retired tests. Also make use of the Test Prep program and the ACT Question of the Day to further your practice.
Khan Academy (www.khanacademy.org/sat)
Used as a practice measure in many K-12 schools, jump on here for practice tests with feedback. A partnership with the CollegeBoard, you will find this a useful source.

With the SAT being redesigned in March of 2016, why not go to the source?

The site is easy to join (click of the Google button) and you can download practice problems to PDF or e-readers. The questions are explained in a light way. It isn't the most comprehensive resource but nice that it is free and for all, including problems all the way down to young children.
