Listen and Learn
The University GuysThis is perhaps the most comprehensive, easy to follow, and inclusive podcast out there. Covering all sorts of topics and countries, The University Guys is my favorite go-to for information on everything university related.
|
ACSAThe American School Counselor Association (ASCA) has their own podcast. While not all of what the organization's materials pertain to the college admissions process, some may still be relevant to you.
|
Revisionist HistoryRevisionist History is Malcolm Gladwell's journey through the overlooked and the misunderstood. Every episode re-examines something from the past — an event, a person, an idea, even a song — and asks whether we got it right the first time. Episodes pertaining to universities are below.

Additional Podcasts
College Admissions Podcast with Mark and Anna (https://collegeadmissionspodcast.com/)

about all relevant topics. Episodes run about 50 min long.
The University Guys (https://www.theuniversityguys.com/knowledge/podcasts/)
University admissions expert David Hawkins not only runs a consulting site with webinars and info, he hosts a podcast as well. His work is top notch and a great resource.
College Admissions Toolbox (www.collegeadmissionstoolbox.com)
While it stems from a blog, Steve Schwartz, a Columbia grad, has launched a podcast with current topics as well as interviews with college admissions officers, perfect SAT scorers, and other experts.
Getting In: A College Coach Conversation (info.getintocollege.com/getting-in/)
Services include a blog and office locations throughout the country from this group of college admissions consultants. Their podcast is on weekly on VoiceAmerica Variety.

This current-running series is put on by Megan and Gretchen (whose services are for hire) and has been putting out about an episode a week for the couple of years.

The College Checklist podcast is brought to you as a free service of Higher Scores Test Prep, an online test prep company that helps students prepare for the SAT and ACT.

A series of relatively short but diverse topics in the admissions game. Check back for new episodes.
The College Admissions Game (www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=7384194)
This series ended in 2007 but it provides a good overview (though maybe more for US citizens). Check out the newer on-going series called "Higher Ed."
About Admissions (https://soundcloud.com/aboutadmissions)
A look at college life and college admissions with a fun twist. Co-founders of AdmitHub.com, Drew and Kirk use a call-in model to explore concerns and topics about the admissions process.
